My Work

Images of old and new stuff I've made..............

A Sterling Silver teacup and saucer I made last year for a small metalwork exhibition we had during Design Week 2009. I formed the cup and saucer using the "sinking" method I learned during my two week course with Brian Clarke in April 2009. And i hand pierced out the flower pattern around the edge of the saucer so as it would reflect in the polished outer edge of the cup!

A tableware set, made from sterling silver, spalted beech, ebony, and glass. I made this back in 2008, to enter in to the RDS Craft Competition, for which it was accepted in to the exhibition. Last year it got "highly commended" at the Future Makers award, and so, was displayed at the "Generation" Exhibition in the National Craft Gallery in Kilkenny. It is now gone to a new home in th Skyline Gallery in Kenmare for the summer months!
